The Zabriskie 700 is a fast and comfortable sailing yacht for lake and coastal cruising. She is built in plywood, glass and epoxy by the Chantier Naval du Moulin.

A fast and spacious cruiser available in kit form for amateur construction. From a simple structured hull to a complete and comfortable boat, the modular kit allows you to choose where to start the adventure.

Inspired by the latest hull shapes used in ocean racing, it is an extrapolation of the current scows, without being extreme for a smooth passage through rough seas. The interior space benefits directly from this new type of hull with volumes superior to the competition. The large openings on the roof bring a lot of light and offer a panoramic view on the outside.

Over the last 2 regatta seasons, we've made some major changes to this 6mJI. Firstly, we developed a new keel with trim tab and winglets. Secondly, the hull, rudder and cockpit were redesigned.

A complete study of the rules has enabled us to considerably improve performance and results in regattas. The invaluable collaboration with Giorgio Provinciali, a renowned hydrodynamicist, has enabled us to better understand the problems associated with the flows. The modification work was carried out with care by the Psaros Shipyard.

Designed in the spirit of these traditional sailing boats, this beautiful construction in strip planking of larch is made by the Lavarelo Shipyard.

A third unit based on the plans of Seb Schmidt was built by the Luthi shipyard. Our office was involved in the architectural modifications in connection with the new engines. Although minor, this modification has significant consequences on the weight distribution and stability. The cabin had to be modified accordingly.

The FD family is growing with this new design, the FD65S. With a look inspired by her big sister and a similar design brief: she is a sleek boat. She is a pure dayboat with a large cockpit and a flush deck where the spinnaker box and the solent furler are integrated.

Equipped with a lead bulb, her lifting keel allows to sail with a draft of 1.50 m or 1.25 m. It can be fully raised for transport.

Trust Yachts perfectly masters the technique of infusion on female mould and the quality of construction of their yachts is excellent.

​​​​The SYRA 18 is an innovative foiler specially designed around the adjustable T-foil system developed by Yves Detrey and Nils Frei.

Performance: Light, she has a large sail area and a consequent righting moment that can be adjusted to wind conditions thanks to the canting foil and the rudder differential. There is no more time lost in the maneuvers related to foils transfer. The aerodynamics were pushed into these entrenchments (end plate effect and fairings) and the set of foils was the subject of intense development.

Accessibility: This hybrid hull offers excellent stability and maneuverability before takeoff. The general ergonomics allows the crew to change board easily.

Safety: This is a main point of this central foil concept, the deck plan is clear and the crew is not exposed to the trailing edge of the foils.

This elegant modular rowing boat offers the possibility to recharge your batteries on the lake.

 

Rowing pleasure is a key point, but an electric engine can also take over in order to take on board up to three people in complete safety.

​​​​This 7.50 m racer is a high standard production boat built using a fiber glass sandwich and resin infusion techniques. All parts are built with female tooling. Special attention has been given to the appendages. This modern looking club boat will be available into two versions.

The basic pack is designed for families or sailing schools and is an easy to handle boat. It is a simple and fun boat, perfect for introducing new sailors to the pleasure of sailing. A comfortable and safe boat for everyone to have fun on. 

The racing version has a bigger sail plan with a generous square top mainsail, and is dedicated to fast and fun sailing. A lot of care has been delivered to all the details, offering an efficient boat built to ensure even performance throughout the fleet.

Here we are ! The racing evolution of the AEBI 850 is in the water ! The hull remains the same with its hard shine and its modern design. Everything else is thought of in a racing mode. A lifting keel with a maximum draft of 2.35 m combined with a high aspect ratio carbon rig. More over, the trim tab which has proven its efficiency on the 950 is here again, likewise the long span rudder. The deck layout and hardware is designed for a short handed crew of 3 to 4. The boat is equiped with a PBO rig.

 

Special aerodynamics deflectors are implemented in the hull deck jonction to optimise the airflow pattern into the jib:

​​Designed and raced by Fabrice Germond, this prototype has been tested in the towing tank. This powerfull boat is equiped with a canting keel, together with a variable angle of incidence canard and water ballasts.​ This mini has proven very good racing abilities. Electrical and autopilot problems during the Transat 6.50 Charente-Maritime Bahia 2009 forced him to additional technical stops. The 476 finished therefore with a significant delay.

​​​Initially designed as Mathieu Verrier's MEng project in 2004, this boat received a wide research and development process currently available only for much larger racing yachts (Towing Tank, Parametric Variation, Hydrodynamics and Structural Engineering) resulting in a lightweight, reliable and fast boat. Particular care over the build process was achieved, resulting in a very good racer. Due to auto pilot problems the skipper's expectation were not met on the transat eventhough the boat arrived 26th in Bahia.

Designed in 2003 for the World Championship, this boat is rather a conceptual design since a new trend was tested: design a stable skiff type hull rather than the conventional narrow hull currently in use at the time.

On a monohull upwind, the airflow on the base of the jib is widely disturbed by the heeled hull (images left).

 

Based on an idea by Sébastien Schmidt, deflectors have been tested in the wind tunnel (images on the right). These tests highlighted the importance of this phenomenon and the effectiveness of these deflectors.


The Aerotechs fitted to the 850R were designed on this basis.
